Come one, come all to this year’s Spring Concert performed by St. Malachy’s Music Ministry!!

Featuring some fun surprise performances, all of our choirs have been practicing tremendously and want to share in the joy of Spring with you! An afterglow will follow, courtesy of the Women’s Club.

St. Malachy Spring Concert 2017

St. Malachy hosts the Metropolitan Detroit Chorale!


St. Malachy is thrilled to host the Metropolitan Detroit Chorale Sunday, May 21st at 3pm in the Sanctuary. Come hear a wonderful afternoon of music as over eighty choristers and twenty orchestra players perform Fauré’s Requiem, among other selections.  Tickets are available after mass or through their website.

Ash Wednesday


Ashes will be available for self-distribution throughout the day today in the Sanctuary.

Mass will be held tonight at 7pm (with distribution of ashes as well).

St. Malachy’s 2016-2017 Concert Series continues with  – back by popular demand (he performed previously at St. Malachy in 2014) – renowned American violinist Andrew Sords!  He will perform alongside Elizabeth DeMio (piano) and Nathanael Matthews (cello) on Sunday January 22nd, 2017 at 4pm in the Sanctuary. Free Admission! The trio will perform works by Dvorak, Shostakovich, Brahms and others. Sords is touted as “utterly radiant” by Canada’s Art Forum and “exceptionally heartfelt and soulful” by St. Maarten’s Daily Herald. He has appeared as soloist with over 250 orchestras across four continents. Don’t miss this wonderful display of music!!
